The Lenovo desktops we buy at work come with plastic to protect the logo and the area around the buttons, presumably from damage on the assembly line or during shipping. But this machine managed to have the protective wrapper caught in the DVD drive. I'm not quite sure why it happened, but I don't think it protected anything.
