One of our student employees plopped a laptop on my desk this morning for me to fix - it looked like a standard IBM ThinkPad, until I opened it and looked at the keyboard, and, well, it was all German to me.

It wasn't too bad, but it took a little getting used to - especially since I needed to path out to a windows share, and the \ was on a key with two other keys - the left and right alt keys actually do different stuff.
