I'm on yer carpet, leaving fur behind...

The first rule of running a photo of the day site is not, surprisingly, to not talk about running a photo of the day site. Rather, it's if you don't find anything to take a picture of, you can always take a picture of your cat.

This is Nibbler chilling on my living room floor. It's where she spends a lot of her time, as evidenced by the fact that she leaves a giant black cat fur "stain" vaguely shaped like a lounging cat. When I finally get around to vacuuming it, I'm pretty sure I get enough fur to build another cat. Oh, and the scratching post - she uses it occasionally, but generally she prefers the sofa or chair.
